I grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. Having had so much dental work done myself, I knew I wanted to become an orthodontist to help others achieve the same confidence I had gained by possessing a beautiful smile. There is nothing more exciting than to witness the transformation right before my eyes as I complete a patient’s treatment and see his or her blissful reaction!
I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Florida and my dental and orthodontic studies at Northwestern University. After graduating in 1999, I have been in practice ever since, making sure to stay constantly updated on the latest techniques by attending many local meetings and seminars. My professional memberships have also kept me on top of things in terms of orthodontic advances. I belong to:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Board of Orthodontics
- American Dental Association
- Chicago Dental Society
- Illinois State Dental Society
- Midwestern Society of Orthodontists
What Inspires Me
My commitment to my patients is inspired not only by my deep desire to help them achieve oral health, but also hearing their perspectives and ideas and learning about their accomplishments. I am fortunate to have made deep relationships among the many families I treat. With an exceptional staff that helps to make the office feel like a home, filling it with joy and fun things to do while waiting, we treat all our clients as the individuals they are.
On a personal note…
I live in Lincoln Park with my husband and our three sons. When I’m not working you can usually find me playing baseball with my boys. I am passionate about the Gators and I love to run. Living in this community is so much fun because I see my patients everywhere!
